I suppose it's normal to get angry at all of this. Had to take vicodin and percaset as a kicker to the lyrica last night so I could sleep yet today I'm getting these odd random stabs in the chest and feeling weak. Longer day goes on the more aggravating it gets :(

Feel sorry for the xray tech that had to do my pre-op xrays today. Was doing chest xrays when blood pressure suddenly dropped and I went down. Didn't totally pass out but was bad enough I couldn't stand or even speak. She tried to catch me even though she is less than half my size so that didn't work very well. Didn't even make it until Tuesday, spent this afternoon/evening in the ER for chest pains. Was released about 2 hours ago :(

The daily chest pains are painful but actually more disconcerting than anything else, can not help but wonder if it's going to be the last time when it happens ( Read more... )

They removed 3 blood clots that were blocking arteries in my left leg last week, I see a neurologist for testing Friday to check for nerve damage in my left foot from blocked blood flow that has now been restored. Everything didn't go away when they got it all flowing again ( Read more... )

From the last update - 3 or 4 more times in the hospital (I really don't remember how many times) and they decided all the things had not fixed my heart. They put a monitor on me and recorded 1684 irregular heart beats in a 26 hour period. Surgery was yesterday, there were a couple of heart problems during but since they knew the risk they were ready for them. Out of recovery now and they think everything is going to be okay (had a notebook computer hidden in my bag.) Go back end of next week for another cat scan to see if they need to do another round of surgery ( Read more... )

I had a lot of problems early last year and after several trips to the hospital and different doctors it was decided that I needed surgery but was not going to have it because two of the cardiologist said the odds were against my heart being able to make it through the surgery or that I would have a massive stroke and be left paralyzed or the other ( Read more... )
