Sometimes people opened up the bar and served drinks, but that wasn't really why Meredith went there. Oh, sure, it was nice when it happened, but even here, on an island, with no idea how she might ever get home, there was a familiarity to the bar that made it sort of peaceful. "Fancy meeting a stranger in a bar, huh?" I joke.

"I think I'm unfortunately in on that more than others," I admit, just shrugging haplessly, but really it's the truth of it and I'm not a man to whine. "I turned up a couple days back and seems like everyone's got their own routines. I mean, I'm used to being the new guy, but it doesn't stop being hard on a man."
