I've spent all night playing with the new Nintendo Wii. I think the idea is really clever and it clearly gets my award for most inventive new, cool, video game thingy. Still, you have to move around too much and I don't like that. I am willing to admit it, one of the appealing qualities of video games is that you get to sit on your ass. Thanx, but ( Read more... )

I have the same opinion. It's cool for about 5 minutes, but then I just want to chill and play video games. Although I still think it would be really cool to play a baseball game on Wii. Have you tried that yet?

Where the fuck are you guys finding all these Wiis? I mean, shit, it's like you're complaining that your lifeboat doesn't have a motor while everyone else on the Titanic is praying for a piece (PS3?) of driftwood to grab onto.

I played it at a video game store. They had a racing game. Nate and I were both over it after 5 minutes of novelty.

There is a baseball game, it's part of Wii Sports. Pitching is just okay but batting is badass. There's also bowling (very fun), tennis (fun), boxing (not realistic at all but fun 2-player) and golf (pretty fun.)

Danny it sounds like the game you played is ExciteTruck. Not really the best showcase for what the controller can do.

Wii Sports + 1-3 friends is a blast; some of the most fun I've had playing videogames in years. I love the Wii.

Trust me, you can be as lazy as you want with this thing. I've just spent five hours playing the Legend of Zelda from my the corner of my futon. It's all in the placement of the sensor bar.

I think I am gonna come home sometime in april or march and the winter sucks here, so I would suggest sometime around may june. You will need 10,000 dollars.
