The last couple months have been an exercise in patience, which I do have at times. I feel as though I'm well positioned and prepared for my second whack at college, and have just been waiting around for the day to arrive, stagnating a bit but not by choice. Going to College. Again.
After quitting my last job with the County, I discovered anew the problem with having no backup plan. Flagstaff is not a good town to be jobless, or have to pay rent in. Brushing the cobwebs from my mind.
Much has happened, but I've had no impetus for writing. Things are going well on the job front here. The money is less than it was in Utah and so is the stress. I am, however the only crew supervisor who hasn't worked for CREC, so there's a large personal information gap as to how they do things here. Back in Flag
I've landed in Flagstaff once again, as of Sunday. I've spent my time finding housing, scrounging for furniture, and letting my ankle heal (sprained it on my last day of work in Utah, go figure). These transitions from a very high activity level to zero tend to throw me for a loop; I have to relearn how to be productive without time constraints ( Read more... )
