24 seems to be off to a good start this year. Already I find myself drawn into the story. It's an impressive feat--to be able to write in such a captivating way. It's really hard to believe that 2008 is already at an end. I mean, it's easy to say that for each year, but this year in particular seems to have vanished into thin air. I think I'm starting to mature as a writer--at least in the sense that I'm starting to actively try and hone my abilities and see what I can make of myself (rather than simply engaging in the craft as a pastime or a hobby). I have to apologize for being so up and down lately. I have good days and I have bad days, and I'm not sure when the next low will hit, but right now, I feel like I have the strength to deal with it when it comes. Control is just a matter of confidence in your own discipline.
