WHO: Shelke [
transparentis] and anyone who wants to bug the newbie.
WHEN: Lunch time.
WHERE: The cafeteria.
SUMMARY: Shelke is still adjusting to life on the Sub, so she does one of the things she's best at: gathering information. (More commonly known as people watching.)
NOTES: Let's get this place active again!
Shelke quickly discovered that the cafeteria was busiest at lunch time. Everyone piled in at once, hungry from missions or training. Unsuprisingly, the room became very busy, very quickly. She observed with a kind of detached silence from a table to the side, setting down her fork on her empty plate and watching with dull eyes. She hadn't spoken to anyone yet beyond using the computers set up here, and that had only been an automatic action. Gathering information had been her specialty, and in this new place with Shade telling next to nothing, she wanted as much information as possible. She didn't know if he-- no, it could be trusted. Or if it trusted her, perhaps knowing more of her than it let on. And she had no idea what the mention of other worlds was about.
So far, she hadn't had much success. Others were in the dark on the details as much as her, and she wasn't about to believe anything --other worlds? Honestly?-- without solid proof. For now, it looked like she'd just have to watch and wait and see.
She leaned back in her chair, blank expression looking almost bored.
