Jenny yawned, stretching her arms as she walked nimbly down the corridor, her feet going pitter-patter as she went. It had been a long, hard day. Partly from getting up so early to train, in vain hope Shade had finally cracked, and partly from her failed attempts to follow Squall. Which was what she was doing now, figuring one of the places he'd likely to be... was somewhere he didn't often go.

And as she neared the entrance to the room, she spotted him in the dimly lit atmosphere. Perfect, she thought to herself, a grin spreading across her face. Not such a vain hope on that front there.

Deciding to be a little courteous to Squall since this was the first day she'd started following him around, she abandoned the plan of creeping him out/hugging him from behind, and waited for him to being to exit. She leant against the wall, listening to her own breathing... and as soon as he was close enough, she sidestepped him.

A grin split aross her face as she looked up at him. "Squall! There you are."

Squall stopped short, quashing any surprise or annoyance before it could form. So she'd been looking for him after all? Great. He doubted it was coincidence. Did she even sleep?

"I'm leaving," he said, hoping she'd take the hint.

"I noticed," Jenny replied, quickly studying him with a quick fleeting glance. It wasn't patronizing; just a confirmation of agreement, bright and slightly too cheerful. She paused for a moment before adding, "I saw you leaving. I'll walk with you."

He'd escaped her thus far; she wasn't going to let him escape her so easily again.

He looked like he was about to protest, or at least express his annoyance, but he was back to impassiveness just as quickly. "Do what you want." He stepped around her without another word. Maybe he'd head back to his room and lock her out and that would be it.
