I'm glad this helped brighten your day a little. And...I do have four whole days off. I might just get to it some time this weekend after all!

I did hear Brooke Langton was a last minute replacement as well. I don't dislike her as much as some others do, but I do think she's a weak link in an otherwise stellar cast. Re. the retcon about Constance's marriage though: I was watching the pilot again over the weekend, and when Constance calls Charlie to tell him to call his father, there is a prominent shot of her ring finger, and she's wearing one of those wedding ring/large diamond combo. So I think they meant for her to be married from the beginning?

BTW, awesome shots. It's easy to get shots of gorgeous actors looking, well, gorgeous. You got the shots where they're making funny faces and actually BEING the characters. It's enough to make me forget that any self-respecting police force would be handing Reese a pack of bobby pins and telling her to fix her hair.

Thank you so much. I'm glad it was enjoyed beyond its intended audience of one.
And I love shots of them looking gorgeous as much as the next person, but they both have such fantastically expressive faces. How could you NOT want shots of that?
It helps that I discovered that if I just hold down shift-command and keep pressing the 3 key over and over on my Mac while I'm playing the show on VLC, it tends to get some good shots just by virtue of volume. (But I'm not above rewinding over and over to get just exactly the right fleeting expression. It's a real hardship, let me tell you. *g*)
