Lol, no, that would have required MANY more than six washings. :P
I washed my hair on Friday before going to Robyn's place so that it would be nice and clean for the wedding, then I washed it on Saturday morning so that it would be clean and wet for the hairdresser. The hairdresser didn't like the feel of my hair, so she shampooed it twice to get it feeling all nice, and then tonight I had to shampoo it twice to get all the hairspray out - I thought I was fine after one wash but then I touched it and yeurgh, still hairspray!! :S so it was back under the shower again...
So nothing too disgusting, just a lot more attention than my hair is used to. ;-)
(Of course, I rocked up to work on Sunday and told all the other staff about my cool hair-washing escapades and got them to feel my hair because it was so soft! and didn't realise until afterwards that I'd actually just invited the geekboys to touch my hair. Ugh, that was a truly forehead-slapping moment.)
Nup. What time was it on? I didn't get home 'til about 9:30 and we had people over for Mum's birthday so i didn't get a chance to turn the tv on - not that I would have had the energy to stay awake and watch anything anyway.
So that's why your family didn't come and watch you be a bridesmaid. If I'm ever a bridesmaid I'm sure my parents will come and watch the ceremony (even if they're not invited, hehe).
Wtf? As if I wanted my family to be there offering their negative comments on how things weren't done right or should've been done differently or how ugly Robyn's dress was or anything like that (ok they wouldn't have been that bad but I know Mum would have had plenty of snide comments afterwards). I had more important things to worry about, I wouldn't have wanted my family there to distract me. People were there to see the WEDDING, not the BRIDAL PARTY. Duh.

no...
yes, I think I am...
WHY did you need to wash your hair six times in two days? I mean, were you sludged upon or did a really greasy geekboy just touch you? ;p
