Also things've been going ok well lately. I got 82.5% in my other chemistry mid-semester - I was worried about this one 'coz I'm pretty sure I got at least two of the answers totally wrong (out of 4 questions), but I hoped that my reasoning was good enough that I'd still get ok marks and apparently that theory paid off!

Also I now know how to run UV-Vis spectra on account of Tim (one of the Magic players who works in the Chem department) showed me how, since nobody else seemed to know how to do it and I didn't want to have to ask Jenners, plus he was demonstrating at the time. I felt bad for dragging Tim away from his more important stuff though, he's not paid to deal with undergrads but luckily for me he was nice enough to do it anyway and now I know how!

Today's the release of the new Magic set so I got my Fat Pack and played triple-FS draft. I did really badly, but I had a lot of fun and I didn't come totally last, which is good. Julian won his pod so he was happy. I told him I wanted to put my hand in his pocket and play with his balls which made him go bright bright red which was hilariously funny. Even his neck went red. He's learning to juggle. Jason was also there and still called me "New Guy" which I like. I also earned respect by cycling all three of my Street Wraiths for a swamp on turn 2 after triple-mulliganing. Let the good times roll (where "good times" is the name of a hollow tube that I can fit inside).

Our fridge is broken. Like monster broken. It's been broken since last Sunday, so our fruit & veg has been sitting in an eski in the middle of the corridor for the past week, and our dairy products were in the laundry sink which we had to keep filling up with ice. A person came to "fix" it on Thursday morning but that only made it worse - when I got home from walking DJ that afternoon it was making the most awful noise, like a lawnmower, horrible loud. And then it stopped that evening. And it's still not cold inside. And this morning when I poured milk over my weetbix, big globs of milk-ice came out. So it was like having icecream for breakfast, only not.

I am looking forward to seeing people tomorrow night. :-)

Also these are incredibly cute: Giant Plush Microbes. Miles thought it was hilarious when I told him that I love the syphillis one, like I would love to get syphillis for my birthday. *g* Also Mum is terrified of my rubber red-belly-black, even after we told her it was fake. Actually, she's terrified of my bright green snake plushie, too. Lol.

xx
