Before the first portion of the zombie invasion, Machiko had latached onto Inara as one of the few sane people in the gym. They'd gone to the ladies room to freshen up. Although, for Machiko, that meant inspect her make-up while swapping gossip. The girl's room smelled of metal and mold. The mirror in which Machiko inspected her make-up was spotted with substances she didn't care to identify.
This year's junior class had been cheap and held prom in the gym. As a result, no powder room. Eurgh.
At the first scream, she wrinkled her nose. "Sounds like I missed the annual spiking of the punch."
At the second, she turned to look at Inara. "What do you think is happening out there?"
