If someone had seen me walking home, they would have said, "What a sad-looking young girl." And they would be correct, because I am a little sad. Once I left Robby and got off the bus, I suddenly got sad. It wasn't leaving Robby; he had nothing to do with it. But, once I was alone, and had time to think, I realized how horrible today was.
