Now I Remember Why I Hate the Dentist

So, Green Day was awesome. Afterwards, my Sunday School class and I (they also came to the concert) went to this restaurant in the Loop called Cicero's and had really good pizza. Yummy stuff. Billie Joe Armstrong was very cool. As were Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool, but I'm not quite as interested in them as I am in Billie Joe. The only thing I hate

Ok, well since I have had four teeth pulled, I think I qualify to speak here. Don't look at the injection thingy. Just close your eyes and let the dentist work. The novacane shot hurts a bit, but you're getting a shot in your gums, what do you expect? After your mouth goes numb, the dentist pulls the tooth. You feel a little tug, and its really wierd, becuase you know this should hurt like hell, but it doesn't. It does feel incredibly odd, but not painful. You mouth will be numb for a few hours afterwards, and you will want it to have feeling again, and then when it does you will wish it was still numb. It's kind of this dull pain for a while, but it will go away within a few hours, probably. You can only eat things like soup and ice cream. (Added bonus: DQ right afterwards because "the coldness of the ice cream will make it feel better.") Heh. Ok, I'm done.
