Ugh...

I must say... it is much easier to deal with major arthritic inflammation then to deal with insomnia and addiction. Ugh. :p

But maybe I'm just saying that because I'm currently dealing with the latter.

Sorry to hear you are going through a crappy time. But, you can do something about both of these things if you wish. There are many (relatively) safe drugs available for sleeping problems depending on the nature of your problem, and even better, most of them are available in generic forms that are much cheaper than the brand names. I have insomnia in the form of not being able to fall asleep and when things are bad, Ambien is a lifesaver for me.

As for addiction, I am guessing you are talking about video games, and the only solution to that is to get whatever the problem is out of your home.

good luck and I hope things get better for you very soon.

Thanks!

Things have, in fact, gotten better thankfully. I tried lowering my caffine intake and tried forcing my sleep schedule to wrap itself around over the weekend (a rather horrific strain on the body, yikes!)

I'm still definitely having difficulties in other areas, but I'm slowly dealing with it... I know cold turkey is very difficult for me to do, so I've been slowly cutting away a little bit at a time. It works sometimes, other days it's more difficult... though I find that trying to fill my time with exercise is a far more productive way to work it out! I only wish that I knew people who played tennis or fencing out here so I could have fun while exercising too!
