OK? We're moving to Ontario, because we're sick of BC. Olympics suck, psycho roommates suck, jobs in BC suck. Life here was neat for a while. I am bringing the best things I found in BC back home with me, those being my lovely and loving wife and our child (still in development).

So yeah, a few days before Valentine's Carolyn is admitted to the hospital with back pains. Surprise! We're 8 weeks pregnant. Despite two home pregnancy tests. Despite three doctor's visits, the last at 6 weeks. We're not happy that we only found out that far along, but what are you gonna do? We have a baby on the way and it's great, even though it's more or less all we think about.

My roommate flipped out because I wanted my brother-in-law to move in and basically threw all of us out on our asses, but that's ok because unlike her, Chris (said in-law) and myself have places to stay (as I've been living with Carolyn for a while). Oh well, my name's off the lease, and she gets to be evicted and have the nasty references from the super now. Seriously, all she had to do was leave us alone for two weeks and everything would have been cool, but some people don't have any sense.

Anyways I must move my stuff out of there pretty soon, I'm just waiting for Chris to get off work so he can give me a hand. I realize I haven't updated in a good long time, but as you might be able to tell, I've been busy. Also the internet connection here is terrible. WAS terrible, anyways. This is our first day of Shaw digital cable and it kicks the utter piss out of Telus. We see ads for Telus that say something like "Honk if you like high-speed internet!" and we just sigh and roll our eyes like we've seen it all before. Like our world-weary attitude excuses us from our cynical outlook on what we think is a fairly crappy internet service.

Yeah, so the tone of this particular journal update seems rather melancholy, but that's just because I hate moving stuff around, and emptying out my apartment seems like a big load of nasty-pasty work. I made that word up. That one over there, in that sentence. Because I am not speaking you have to guess how it is pronounced and either way, I will probably tell you that you are saying it incorrectly. It is actually pronounced "sweaty".
