You'll do fine. I mean if you have a passion for the language, you can learn it. I am learning this as I am attempting to teach myself Japanese out of this grammer book I have and a Japanese Women's Bible Study book. So far so good but the real fun will be the hiragana and katakana which I can do..it just takes time. XD
One thing Parsons told me was to try translating things. It helps jog things into your memory. Or just work on recognizing certain symbols or sounds when reading/listen to Japanese. w00tness.
I have somewhat of a photographic memory so it's not that hard. I have a little over half already memorized and the quiz is tomorrow so I'll be fine. It's hard but I really am enjoying it. I LOVE your icon btw! I'll let you borrow my text book next term if I don't need it for Japanese II. You can find hiragana and katagana charts online. Kanji is the really hard one.
