Even if they do play it on MTV, The Darkness hasn't quite sold out yet, so I guess it's still ok for me to like them, what with keeping with the pretentious non-conformist attitude and whatnot.
Which reminds me exactly of that South Park episode where Stan decides to be goth....
"Alright kid, if you dress like us, talk like us, think like us, wear exactly the same clothes as us, and listen to the same music as us, then you'll be TOTALLY non-conformist...."
hon, i've had some pretty crappy dances in my time, too. but you have to at least try to do something you'd enjoy instead of sitting at the sidelines by yourself all night- just like how in order to have an awesome/funny lunch conversation, you can't sit alone.
and about kovacs: he's the only person who tried out who might be remotely qualified to play the jester. and yes, you are jumping to conclusions. you know what parts you're up for; if you weren't talented, then you wouldn't be up for them. you know that.
we missed you at the afterparty. i hope you enjoyed the rest of your night anyway.
