I chose stability over uncertainty.  Turns out uncertainty was better.
Regulation 274 makes returning, even to uncertainty, extremely difficult.
Stability I have, but it does not pay the bills.  Instead my debts grow.

What is Regulation 274?

Regulation 274 requires school districts in Ontario to hire full-time teachers from their pool of long-term supply teachers. The district is required to keep two pools of supply teachers. One of general supply teachers, the other of supply teachers who are eligible for long term supply assignments. One can only move from the general list to the LTO after one has been on the general list for at least 10 months and worked at least 20 days during those 10 months
