Need?

I have not owned a TV in about 4 years.  When my first son was able to stand and push buttons he started turning the TV in our living room on every time he went in there.  He would then watch whatever was on.  He would throw a huge fit when my wife or I turned the TV off.  We were training him to only watch TV when we allowed him to but shortly

Back in 1986, with two young children (born in 83 and 85), I moved from a house into an apartment. In the course of downsizing we gave up our TV. Colleagues, who also had young children, were shocked that we gave up our TV especially with young children. All of this before the days of common place personal computers and certainly no widely used internet. I didn't miss it
