Back Pain

February I had a massive traumatic back spasm.  I hit the floor screaming and could not move for a while.  Since then I have had excruciating pain in my hip, leg, knee and calf.  Mostly on the left side

Talk to your (other) sister. She has some familiarity with back injuries.
IIRC, dad was treated with a combination of traction therapy and strict bed rest. He was at Etobicoke General for two weeks.
