it's the farewell lecture given by a CS prof from carnegie mellon university. the humor's a bit nerdy/geeky but it's soooo good. diane sawyer interviewed the prof for GMA a few days ago. it's long (11 nine minute sections) but worth every second.

yes! i keep meaning to post about him. i saw him on ABC nightly news a few weeks ago as their "person of the week" and promptly went to their website to watch his whole lecture.

he's amazing and inspiring.

i love his whole message. and the best part? he's a techie. he's a full on geek. i mean beyond even my geekiness (i never wrote the quadratic formula on my wall). and look at it all. he's said he's gotten letters and such from people through all walks of life telling him he's inspired them to be so much more. that's the best thing any person can hear... it's a legacy.

I saw it at the CMU website. Wonderful speech. It's good to see that not all professors are pompous twits.
