We went to meet John Edwards tonight, and it was great to hear him speak and to shake his hand, but holy crap, something even neater happened!

Madeline Stowe (of 12 Monkeys, China Moon, Bad Girls, and The Last of the Mohicans) was there, and we got to meet her afterwards - she had drawn a surprisingly small crowd, so we were easily able to speak
