That pretty much sums it up. My thesis is do in a few weeks (due as in copy that is completed and ready for review, not bound) and my computer is down which means using my mom's comptuer - which has Vista and the crapy Mircosoft office that goes with it. I should get the part for my power adpator on Thrusday and be set, but still frustrating

As your friend, I say you can be social without spending money - that's what hanging out in each other's houses is for and if I mention going out you are always welcome to respond with staying in. I also say you shouldn't feel guilty about saying no to work on your thesis, but you also shouldn't feel guilty taking an evening off. Working yourself into being fried will not help you write awesome things. Breaks are good.
