But the old ones had over 70,000 miles on them and not much tread left to go into winter.

In the process of getting the new tires on the Jeep, we discovered the source of the occasional low tire pressure light.  Apparently one of the sensors had corroded.  It wasn't taking air properly and was not expected to be able to hold air, so we replaced it

Driving down the road, I see people every day with obviously low tires. I really don't like laws to protect idiots from themselves. That's what "Natural Selection" is for!
I mean, how do you expect the moronic to kill themselves off when laws like this keep dressing them in bullet-proof-bubble-wrap????
