In short: Orthodox Jews protest a municipal parking lot being open on the Holy Sabbath. Now, I'm not saying they shouldn't protest, I'm sure they have their reasons (I don't know much about Jewish religion so bear with me.) But my god, look at those hats! FUZZY TIRE HATS

Apparently those fuzzy tire hats... are made out of gray fox fur.

I hate fur. Sure it looks beautiful, but those poor animals... There is perfectly nice synthetic fur available, can't people wear that?

Wikipedia says that there's cheaper, synthetic versions available for regular use. People can have two: An expensive one for those special occasions, and a cheaper one.

Frankly, I'd only wear the cheap one, even on special occasions. It's not about the cost, it's about not wanting animals killed just so that you can show off your money by wearing their skin.
