I sometimes got whiney comments but in general I ignored what was said. I posted pages from comics I liked to read or which I thought were worth sharing - what came after was sometimes interesting but rarely important.

I never had any problem with whiney comments.

Because at least they read the post. :p

After they left LJ, for reasons beyond their control of course, I pretty much lost interest in the community and barely visited the site after that (on insanejournal and dreamwidth).

I don't know about the rules, I barely paid attention to them back then, but this truly sucks. But this now gives me a true reason to not go to the site anymore at least.
