My trusty old LeBaron is slowly dying as the transmission gets worse and worse every day. One of these days it's just not going to move anymore. Going tonight to look at a 2008 Sebring at Ki-Po, hopefully I can make a deal with the dealer. Looked at one at Cecconi's Chrysler Complex yesterday and was completely surprised at their inability to budge ( Read more... )

lol I ain't a fan of the sebrings. seems like a lot of money for a piece of shit. but then, I hate sebrings. XD

I dunno, the 2008 one is a really nice car. I ended up buying the one from Ki-Po, and they're even giving me $600 for the complete piece of crap 1995 LeBaron. Frankly, I will just be happy to have a car that is not in constant danger of breaking down.

You can buy a brand new car for almost that price tho. Like a yaris.

This is true, but I've never really liked the Yaris. I like the idea of the gas mileage, but I was never sold on the size. I could probably get a Cobalt for around this price, but I've got a 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty on the Sebring, so I don't feel so bad about buying used at this point.

If it breaks down as soon as my warranty is up though, feel free to point at me and laugh. :)

I thought that the new cobalts also had a 100k or 75k warranty. My friend's did anyway.

36k ain't a lot of miles for me I'm so mean to my vehicles. XD
