up late...

So there's another gap in the paper's lineup and my boss wants me to write another column. This time, however, I've been given more than a few hours notice; I have a couple of days. A personal subject was wanted, and since I'm too fucking busy to have a life right now, I thought about my life a few years ago and stuff. I had a bit of a flick ( Read more... )

I've had you on my list for longer than I can remember. Which isn't very long, but probably 3 or 4 years if I had to ballpark it. Anyway.

What song has the most plays in your iTunes? Mine's "Journey of the Sorceror" by The Eagles. Highly reccomended.

Currently, it's Feel Good Inc by Gorillaz. I had a stage where I'd just listen to it on repeat for half an hour. Yeah, that was fun. It's not a totally accurate representation of my most played, though, just because I listen to cds on there, too, as well as plugging my iPod in and listening directly from that. This is most played from the music on my HD.

As a consolation prize, Baby I Need Your Lovin' by the Four Tops is also pretty high up on the list, as is Joaquin's version of Walk the Line, and What's Left of the Flag, Flogging Molly.

I hope that was enlightening :)

...I think I've had you friended for three years now? Maybe four? I'm not entirely sure.

Question: What is your opinion on Mountain Dew?

I actually don't mind the Dew. I don't LOVE it, but if every single other soda were suddenly poisoned and there was only the Dew... I'd be ok. For a while. Then if they didn't bring Pepsi and Sierra Mist back, I would be a Sorely Pissed Fox.

Thanks for the question!

I cannot, for the life of me, remember exactly when I f'listed you. O.o I know it's been over a year...probably two...but that's my best guess.

As for a question...if you could have any meal, eaten anywhere in the world, right now...what would it be and where?

I had all of these wild places in my head, like India for amazing curry, or Spain, or Italy... France...

And the one thought that rises to the surface of them all?

"Man, I could really go for a meal at the Grand China Buffet".

I guess this means I'm horribly plebean. :)

(seriously, though, they make fucking awesome shai mais)

I think I friended you about a year ago. I could be off by a few months on either side, though.

So, what are your thoughts on the current state of primary education?

I thought I'd answered this one already *scratches head* maybe I just answered it in my mind....

I think it's pretty bad right now, and I'm glad I don't have to deal with it.

Also, I like your tiara.

Wow, I think it's been... I was still dating my girlfriend at the time, and that was a long time ago. It must be about... four? Five years? But my memory is terrible due to work and periods of marathon gaming. XD

So with that, I'm curious. What was it that attracted you to Collin in the first place, and what do you think attracted him to you? I know, such a girly question.

hey Ki, long time no see :)

It *is* a bit of a girly question... I'm not sure how I'll go but i'll do my best ;) I think you're talking relationship rather than friendship, so that's what I'll answer.

From a romantic standpoint, I think it's pretty obvious I was attracted by his looks, but also his loyalty, understanding and thoughtfulness. It would definitely sound odd to someone who doesn't know him, but he's all of those things, and has been a rock for me in the tough times I've had (as far between as those have thankfully been). He trusted me to get close to him and I have never been disappointed, and he's never let me down.

As for what attracted him to me? You'd really have to ask him that, but I'd like to think it was my sparkling blue eyes :)
