Okay, I didn't think we'd get hit with a hurricane that bad, but C'MON! Saturday we got some wind and a long rain shower. Lost power for about 40 min. No thunder or lightening at all. I know this is probably insensitive to say what with Galveston and Houston being a wreck, but I wanted a storm.

So I got into a car accident on my way home from work today. I ran into a school bus. Luckily, there were no kids on the bus, and I wasn't going fast, and nobody was hurt. Only casualties were my windshield and my hood got scraped up pretty bad ( Read more... )

It was all rainy and blah today. So I didn't want to go to the store when I got home.

Nevertheless, I DID get some gummy vitamins (buy one get one free!) and 6 kiwis for $1.

Not bad!

Now I just have to keep myself from eating the gummy vitamins like candy snacks at the movies.

Yesterday I had my yearly review at my job. They said I'm doing amazingly well and basically rocked the Rite Aid program. And because of that, they gave me a raise!! A raise that makes a difference actually. About $1.50 more an hour. About $200 more a month. *dances ( Read more... )
