If I knew what you mean with latex in this context, I might be able to join in the cheers.
Why would anyone inject latex into his/her veins? Isn't that rubber?
Or did someone inject latex, so the guy would not rot?
And... yeah... *shudder* =P

Yeah, they latex inject the donated cadavers as part of the embalming process so that it's easier for us to find the arteries and other structures without destroying them (ie. with scalpels and probes) while we search for those structures.
*grins* I guess it is kind of morbid, but my impression of morbid has been irrevocably redefined as a result of this lab.

Actually the ironic part is that I still get upset about killing spiders and other bugs, even if they're in my house. And I felt terrible today, because we caught a mouse using a live trap in our appartment, but he died before we could set him free. I actually felt really guilty. Poor, poor mouse.
