Life happens.

My new motto. Life happens. It's true: you try to worry about it, you try to control it, you try to decide where, when or how it happens and the bottom line is that unless you do something terribly drastic and undesirable, it continues to happen for an entire era also known as a lifetime.

It's a very useful motto. It's useful, say, for the times ( Read more... )

*grins* I will tell my prof that.
Actually, I was being mostly nonchalant with that entry. This is the first year that I've come to university, to be honest, that I haven't come perilously close to a complete nervous breakdown. This year I'm actually not unhappy...which is strange, even though it shouldn't be. I just keep expecting to run up against a wall at some point and not know what to do, but it just doesn't seem to be happening...and I won't complain!
But your right. Life happens, shit happens and rain happens. And it just so happens that like rain, most of the time...and yes, there *are* different forms of it.
By the way, I apologize for not thinking to put a warning about relatively graphic images in that phrase of my blog....whoops. Hope you kept your coffee down! :P

Life happens?
Wow. That was very philosoph-or-ish.
I'm better acquainted with "shit happens," but if one goes by life=shit, your statement makes a whole lot more sense to me. =D

Chin up, L.
There's always one who's off worse than oneself.
The macabre side of me compelled me to say that. I know it's not of much use (what are words in a situation like that anyway?) but things could have come worse. That's what I try to tell myself... with mediocre success of positive effect.

I'm rambling now, and I'm making less and less sense... and more and more typos.

An ebb succeeds every tide.

Ooooh, I like that! Ebbs and tides....very good, very good.

See the humorous thing about this is how wrong I was coming across to everyone. I guess I sounded really negative, when really I wanted to sound aloof...that is to say for once, all those things that should rightfully have bothered me weren't really bothering me. Oh well. I hit the wall a few days later and they did bother me, so the comments came at a good time, even though my intent was different :)
It's all good now: I'm done midterms, I have time to breathe, and I discussed my problems regarding a certain someone who won't be mentioned here's behaviour with the appropriate someone, and that got resolved too. So it's all good.
