Today was a long day helping a friend move so we went to the Panda Buffet for dinner. At the end of dinner they brought the fortune cookies, and as is custom everyone grabs one. The more I think about it, the more I think that working on finishing my thesis for my MA is a waste of time. Not even worth the paper. I might be antagonistic at times. I might question why everyone and everything. I might force people to ask themselves why things have to be as they are..but that very predisposition makes me a better writer. I find myself telling the stories that could be, to divert us from how they are.
