You know, I'm pretty sure that kind of defeats the purpose of trying to block the attack. I'm no expert, but aren't you supposed to avoid getting the pointy end shoved into you.

That's the second time you've gotten out of bed. Your muscle mass will be fine and you can build it back up- once you're fully healed.

Going to the bathroom and doing a kata are extremely different scenarios. You can't compare them.

Your hurt- either you heal, or you run the risk of further injury. Which means you'd just wind up stuck in bed longer.
