One week until I finish work for November, pack my bags, and try desperately to catch SOME sleep. I am so very anxious. So many people and so little time... I probably won't even have a chance to see many friends at all on this trip, just family.

i have visited canada every year since i've lived here (sometimes twice) and i STILL haven't seen everyone i want to see since i've left. it's ridiculous. your time is going to fly by!

also, i need to get a new digital camera. are you really happy with canon? my old one is a nikon and i had to deal with getting it fixed twice which was such a pain and they have HORRIBLE customer service so i am hoping to get good recommendations.

A lot of my friends moved far and wide too, so not like I COULD see everybody. But there are just so many. :O

Canon has been OK. I really like the products. My first 40D was a total lemon but I got it replaced through Amazon with minimal hassle and at no cost. I suggest against HP and Kodak. My favorites are Canon, Panasonic (for the point and shoots), Fuji, and Nikon (for DSLR).
