[absolutely nonsensical tiny morning drabble of the Phil/Clint variety, PG]

A flutter of fingers, a sleepy-warm smile, eyes barely open as coffee drips steadily into the pot, Clint leans against Phil, back to chest, Phil’s lips pressed to Clint’s shoulder. “Morning,” Phil says softly, muffled against skin.

“Hi.”

“Slept okay?”

Clint hums in answer, nodding as he grabs two cups from the drying board on the side of the sink, filling them up. He feels Phil’s nose scrunch up against his shoulder.

“You call that coffee?”

“It is coffee.”

“No, this is tar, not coffee. I’ll wait until we’re in the office.” Phil keeps on dropping small kisses along Clint’s shoulder, just a press of lips against skin that makes Clint smile to himself.

“What will wake you up?”

“Shower.”

“Can I watch?”

Phil chuckles, hot air blowing past the nape of Clint’s neck. “Please do.”
