"You sure you don't want to go see your elf lady just for a night?" he asks, jokingly. Steve swats him on the back of the head and Tony laughs, high and clear. "I promise I can have you back before you need to make any morning after speech."

"Sometimes a kiss is just a kiss," Steve says, blushing. He didn't regret it at the time, but he sort of does now. At least, he regrets doing it in front of Tony and Thor.

Tony pulls back and gives him a wry grin. "It's a kiss is still a kiss," he says. Steve rolls his eyes and sighs, which only makes Tony smile harder. "A sigh is still a sigh

I want alllllll the post Avengers Prime fics ever. ALL OF THEM. I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT THIS RUN. Don't even get me STARTED on the whole "Steve saves naked Tony with a sword after he rides in on a horse" bit. WHAT IS THIS ENTIRE SERIES. IT IS SO FANSERVIE-Y I CAN'T EVEN STAND IT. I honestly want to know if Bendis goes trolling fanfic websites for ideas.

Honestly, there's nothing more for me to say except for THIS. And honestly, I want to make a post just to flail about this series. It would be image heavy and squeeful and basically consist of me going "LOOK" "WTF SO IN LOVE" and "SKDJFHKLSDFH NO SERIOUSLY, LOOK, TONY IS NAKED" so maybe not.

I adore this! I love how Tony just can't quite bring himself to believe, because he's been longing so long, even when Steve is actually kissing him. It's like he has to reboot in order to process the new information.
