Their last kiss was practically nothing. It was barely there, ephemeral for a moment that was the very end. It was a small simple period in the novel of loving gestures that filled their relationship. How quick and small it was is what makes Clint so fucking angry

Oh, oh, oh. This hurts in just the right way - I liked the line about Clint hanging around Bruce in hopes that his anger-management would rub off on him. The memory has a lot of great notes - the odd specificity of parts of it really struck me, because that's how a lot of memories are, with parts that stand out among the rest. Poor Clint :(
