1.Tony really thought this one, with the giant world-eating alien and the fighting and the Fantastic Four practically sacrificing themselves, was going to be the last one, the big one, the one that finally put him down forever. Waking up to Steve, ridiculous poster boy Steve with hair mussed and his armour torn and smudges of soot and blood on his face, hovering over him like that first time feels like some kind of blessing

I love how Steve's reaction to Tony is more about the sacrifice play than the kiss, and how Natasha takes care of Clint by letting him take care of her, and how enthusiastic Thor is about the new custom he's learned, and Bruce's thoughts on Tony's rambling.
