Good lord. Just when I think I can get back to arts, life happens.

Not that there's anything wrong going on but.. days at work tend to be weird, and after I get home and do unwinding/housework/dinners, it's about bedtime. I spend at least 80 minutes in the car each day for work, and man, that eats into personal time :/ Ug. And I thought there were ( Read more... )

I know what you mean. I work 10 hour days and very little 'me' time at nights. Plus getting stuck in a routen sucks as well.

Hope ya get the artwork a flowing again, would love to see more from ya! Maybe commission as well.

oy, I know the feeling; get up at 8, catch the bus to get to work at ten, then work till 7 and a half hour ride home; doesn't leave much time for writing:P

Bleagh. I've been feeling that a fair bit lately.. but I'm seeing what I can do, very subtly, to help realign the boss with a more sane state of affairs. I don't even have a commute to worry about (I always try to stay relatively close to the office du jour, but this place worked out particularly well, being about a 15 min walk. Just as well, given the bus along the road the office is on starts later than I need, and ends earlier), but with having to get in at 8am (*bleah*), and getting out usually around 5.30-6pm, I often just don't have much energy to do anything once I get back.

(I can print! Just got some nice, cheap glossy paper, and the colors are wonderful! But, I'm seeing striping.. nothing severe, but noticeable if you look more than casually. Still, impressive how well it managed the pastel hues of that Elevator Angels photo. Quite tempted to offer posters of that one, actually)

I know the feeling about being too tired to do any art after a long day at work. What really sucks is that I get inspire and want to draw while in the middle of doing the work stuff. The other thing that was killing me from doing art was getting the tire dirt and oil out of the pours of my hands. Now that I have a little bit better staffing, I rarely have to work in the shop. Still I'm just too tired at times.

Good to hear that you are doing well.
