I've had ringing like that in my left ear for the last 10+ years. Inner membrane ruptured or something, I was told there was no guarantee on how effective surgery would be and I was terrified of the thought so I never got it repaired.

Your body gets used to it. I was all wonky and off balance too, after a while though everything went back to normal, apart from the constant ringing and most of my hearing gone... It may not get better, but you'll get used to it if it doesn't.

Hopefully though whatever's affecting you isn't as chronic. By the way, are/were you planning to attend FC at all?

Oh gosh! I know how you are feeling. I have Meniere's disease too. Not as severe as that though. Diaretics helped drain the fluid in my affected year for a few months but they no longer work. And my insurance is going to run out in a week so it's going to be a while before I can find another insurance company to get some more help.

Oh my that's quite the situation. I am very sorry that you're in this situation. Loss or dampening of a vital sense is never pleasant. I do wish you well during this time and pray the physicians can locate what is causing this in you. Hope you get better in the near future and your life can reclaim a bit of the normality you had before.

Have you heard of notched music therapy? You might try looking into that.

Also tell Chris I been thinking about him.
