Furt Rant/Reaction
Yeah. Pretty much my reaction to the episode because so much happened.
First, I'm going after Karofsky. After the whole locker room scene in NBK, I thought, "Well, that was nearly painfully obvious now that I think about it." And then I realized "OMG Angsty eventual relationship possible here? I think yes." And he had a bit of a douche-y moment near the end, but I waved it off as "You can't be better than me because everyone hates you because you're gay and that's not cool because they shouldn't and you shouldn't be stronger than me." [That was a ridiculously long rant-thought.]
But then we got to the Substitute and I was cringing. No longer did I want to plan out that relationship, because Karofsky was going creeper on Kurt [IE - Lunch scene where he winks at Kurt and the poor kid looks like he's about to cry.]. From there I started trying to predict what he would actually do to Kurt.
So when Furt came around -- I missed it on TV and had to wait til this morning to see it -- and after my friend having a near fit trying not to tell me about it, we can only guess that I was half-hyperventilating when I could finally see it.
Yeah, Karofsky can just burn now man. I've never seen anyone that scared before as Kurt was when Karofsky cornered him in the hallway. I'm so happy Mr. Schue came up right afterwards and took him to see the principal. I mean, really. If that was ignored I was going to kill someone. Legit. Over a TV show. Dear god '>.>
And when his dad found out? Damn, I've never been more impressed in my life. I was kinda hoping that he would be permanently expelled, so I screamed when they said he was coming back. Kurt looked ready to die. I was hoping Blaine would do something, but no hero this episode.
But did anyone notice the look on Karofsky's dad's face when Dave said "Maybe he likes me"? That made me wary. He kinda narrows his eyes. Weird >.>
Secondly, club supporting Kurt = FINALLY YOU DUMBASS BITCHES. I could go on, but come on! They all are supposed to be there for Kurt, but they aren't. So them cornering Karofsky was great. Especially with how freaking pissed Mike was. And Puck trying not to kill people - he was adorable in the background, totally pissed. He probably would have ripped Karofsky's head off or something.
And is anyone else interested in Sam's reaction? I mean, he mauled Karofsky. I mean, granted Karofsky had just knocked over Artie and Mike, but Sam went Street Fighter on him! And even if he's strong, Karofsky's taller and heavier than him. I'm curious.
Finn finally doing something nice? That made me gooey inside. The brotherly sweetness, the "making up for every time I did something dumb and hurt you"-ness of it all made me bubbly inside. I wish I had a bro like Finn. He's the best. After overcoming all of his issues and fears, it was just perfect. I really hope Blaine hears about it, because I think if he knew about how Finn wasn't doing anything, and then made up for him, he'd forgive him. Or he'd just think Finn was one of the sweetest, yet totally awkwardly social guys ever.
And then Dalton. OMG. Dalton. I'm kinda... really depressed over that. I mean, he really should get the hell away from Karofsky cause it's scaring him shitless, but the school should do that for him! He shouldn't have to leave. I cried, I really wanted him to stay because I think with his friends backing him up, they could have done something. But... at the same time, now he'll be with Blaine. Gosh, this is so confusing. I'm still torn about Dalton. Oh dearie.
