The other day, I write loads of holiday destinations on a big board. I'm saving up money for a holiday after university next year.

I just couldn't decide where to go. Only two of the options were mine, the rest were from friends. Should be a lot of fun, though I've never been to America on my own!

You might have to stage a re-throw as by some heinous error, Argentina isn't on there! Bolivia is fucking *great* too but you need to have spent some time getting used to South America and speaking Spanish (say, in Argentina) before you hit Bolivia.

Bolivia did look wonderful, alas, The Beetroot of Destiny has decided. There will be no re-throws, lest the root vegetable gods are angered.

I've just been reading about the Sonoran Desert and Phoenix is there too. I wonder if I'll see the Phoenix Lights. :D

Hey Foxy, it's been a while since we last communicated. I have not been keeping up with lj properly (if I was American, right now I would be saying "My bad" but i'm not, so I won't use that fucking irritating phrase) I have skimmed a few entries and see that you have a lot of exciting stuff going on in your life and I must say that I am very happy for you and really respect and admire the way that you take hold of your life and make stuff happen, you realize your dreams and you bring them into manifestation. :') You say such lovely things. I f I were American, I'd say "Kudos" or something, and I would have called it a "beet"!

I have about ten things going on at any one time and seem to get them all done, though my brain needs to be de-fragged like a bad hard drive at the end of the day, which is where the cheesecake and cigarettes come in.

I can't take credit for this though - the Pickled Beetroot of Destiny chose my path on this one!
