AilaHervey’s interactions with her have been limited, but the few encounters they’ve had haven’t actually been so bad. He still remembers the shenanigans with the present and Nash, and he still regrets setting that up - though it was entirely unintentional, of course!~ Still, he recognizes that Aila is a nice girl, and she deserves much better than his buddy-o-pal Nash, as much as he hates to say it. He remembers her being friends with Yun, and so is a little surprised that they haven’t talked more throughout the time he’s spent at Budehuc

Norma
He’s had a, erm, bad experience with Norma after that particular escapade with Juan in the baths - which still isn’t his fault, mind you! Still, he didn’t really catch a glimpse of much… or if he did, he’s not about to admit to it, much preferring to not get death glares whenever he sees her. He thinks she’s cute, but she’s much too young for him, and so he doesn’t tease her or play a lot of mind girls with her like he might do to other girls. He regards her as a performer rather than someone who can fight in an army, and so he might treat her a little delicately. Plus, he wouldn’t want to make the wrong move and have Ernst trying to destroy vital parts of his anatomy again!

Speaking of Ernst, he recalls seeing Norma during the tournament fight looking for her spotty friend - he probably owes her for that, seeing as she distracted Ernst quite a bit, and that allowed him to slot in a victory to his team’s name (which was very satisfying, considering a ninja was on the other team!).

HOW!? How!? Hervey will forever remain confused and bewildered as to how Lepant ever snagged her, but he values his life, so he’ll try not to question that too much in a public environment. He certainly thinks Eileen is quite a beautiful woman, and while he’d like to get to know her better, there’s still something rather weird as hell going on here since he was kind of best buddies with Sheena for a while. You don’t - you don’t become friends with your best pal’s mum! … Do you? Let’s not get into the whole ‘Sheena’s mum has got it going on’ rendition, courtesy of Fountains of Wayne. Anyway, as long as Lepant keeps popping out of thin air, Hervey kind of tries to keep conversations with Eileen very tip-top in their politeness and non-suggestive factor. He is very, very nervous about having lunch with Lepant and Eileen, and is still wondering what on Earth he is doing. At least he’ll have an ally in Lazlo

Bernadette will always be the girl that… well, not ‘got away,’ but she’ll always be the girl that Hervey wishes he got to know better. And by better, I mean better than Sigurd! He’s still rather bewildered that someone could pick against her, but everyone has their own reasons, so he doesn’t hold it against him. With her wedded to Kyle, now, he knows she’s off-limits, though he won’t hold back a compliment or teasing statement every now and then. Despite their radically different occupations, he kind of considers Bernadette as a bit of a sister-he-never-really-had, making her teasing remarks about having Skald adopt him a little ironic! She’s another person that he would defend no matter what, whether Kyle gets annoyed at him or not

Hervey doesn’t know Borus quite well, and they got off on the wrong foot thanks to Hervey’s big mouth. He hopes that Borus has forgotten all about that, though, because he recalls that he was making a mockery of Borus’ admiration of Lady Chris. Oh, you hypocrite, Hervey. Both being Chimou stars, they seem to share a lot in common in terms of a fiery temper and an obsession admiration of their Captain. With that said, they’ll probably end up getting along better as time goes on! For now though, Hervey will trust in Borus simply because he’s Percival’s best buddy, and he’s also heard a lot about the knight
