I’ve searched the apartment and the network . . . no sign of him . . .
To be parted without being able to say or hear “goodbye” . . . “I will see you soon . . .”
To be left behind, as I had been in Aizu when my family left for the battlefield . . . as I had been in Tokyo, when Ken-san left, and everyone left to bring him back . . .
It hurt then to be parted from my family and my friends . . . and now, it hurts so much to be parted from my husband . . . but . . . never mind my pain. What about his? What about the trials he has yet to bear? He has yet to face Nobunaga at Honnoji . . . as history-my history, his future-dictates. Has the time come?
Mitsuhide . . . have you truly left the City and returned to whence you came? . . . to perform your duty to history? . . .

But I will not lose faith. I know that he will find me once again. He promised, and I answered. I have faith, and I will wait patiently, and will not be idle with despair.

[ooc; so, Mitsuhide is currently on hiatus, being canon updated. Megumi is worrying about her husband’s disappearance, but is trying her best to stay strong. However, canonically, she has shown that she can only be strong for so long-keeping busy helps her, so she will overwork herself in the hospital-but expect a breakdown from her soon.
