Mmm . . . a peaceful summer day. No curses today, it seems!

The past two, admittedly, were quite interesting, ne? Ah, to be a child again . . . Mitsuhide and I very much enjoyed ourselves playing tag and house! (Though I still like playing tag with him, and as for house-oh, it’s much more wonderful now that we’re married adults in love, and able ( Read more... )

There's no need to be saying things like that!

Ah, Tamaki-san!

. . . Saying things like what?

What? Decent weather and no curses? That's... unusual, actually. Something awful will happen soon, no doubt.

Koi, hm? That's much simpler than a lion.

Carl-san. I haven't seen you in a while. How have you been?

I am hoping that this time of peace lasts. Good, summer weather and harmless curses are infinitely preferrable to what havoc this City can wreak.

You had a lion?

I've been rather busy, actually--or, just recently, either unusually short or hiding from wild animals. How are you and your husband? You weren't eaten by koi, I see.

Yes, agreed. I don't think we'll be this lucky for long, though. Call me a pessimist, but I've seen enough of this city to suspect that peace is only ever present in the lulls between truly horrendous curses. We can always hope, however!

An impressive male African lion, yes. He only ever glowered, though--if he was interested in snacking, his restraint was admirable.

Well, it's just begun, Hiiragi-san. Being a child again was nice for a day, ne?

Though I heard that you threw your koi out the window?

You and Jun-kun looked really alike!

Well, I'm afraid of animals myself, but . . . I pity the koi.

Mitsuhide really enjoyed taking care of the fish we had. Considering what koi means, I'm glad we had a pair.

Not a problem, Akechi-sensei. ^_^ I'm quite happy I got to look after such a well-behaved little girl. ^_^

Well-behaved? I suppose I was placated because my Mitsuhide was there, I had fun playmates, tofu, and a nice girl who looked after me.

My parents and brothers used to always tease me for causing trouble, though. I don't know what they are talking about~!

Alright, perhaps a mischievous, well-behaved little girl, in all honesty. ^^; Who seemed to love watching me create butterflies made of fire even though she couldn't touch them. ^_^

Well, it was perhaps a good idea that I didn't want to, otherwise I might have scalded myself? Though at that age, I already knew what to do for burns . . .

Ah, speaking of which. I didn't know that you could do such magic. That's what it is, ne?
