Would you pay $150 to see Mavis Staples in Chicago, at an intimate event with food and drink and good company? I just don't know if that would be feasible for folks, but maybe..?? I have to reply if I'll agree to be on a host committee for a very awesome organization's event and so I need some random poll responses to help me with my decision.

I wouldn't, but I'm sure there are people out there who would. I'd pay $150 for someone else, maybe Jeff Tweedy or Stephen Merritt.
