I did not abhor Crash, it had its flaws, but I actually found the film redeemable in some regards.. does being white have something to do with this i wonder? But more so, i think it was a political move specifically for the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Hollywood makes a statement by giving Crash an oscar. To me, that makes sense.
