It's a pain in the arse process. Let me tell you...it's not thing I hope to go through again anytime soon. It's like as soon as you think you get all the paperwork all squared away...a month later they're calling you for more verification because someone else at their office made an oopsy and didn't see you already had insurance or something. Take your time and get everything as squared away as much as possible -- saves for headaches later as you budget in your monthly mortgage and any other utility payments.

Yeah I got pre-qualified today... I went with the one for $115k for it had lower payments.

The guy saw that I had enough for 5% down in my bank account and was like well you have enough for a down payment and I was like no, I don't think I want to drain my account of all the money thank you. Right now I only want to put 3% down.

So, yeah in the process of being pre-qualified I got approved for a credit card that had a very decent limit to it.

Paying off my other credit cards and other loans really boosted my credit :D

But yeah, now that I know my limit I can truly start looking for homes *nods:nods*

I'm hoping I can get my realtor to get the seller to pay the closing cost.

Best thing about the loan is that there will be no PMI or other ridiculous fees.

I made sure to tell the guy that I was a first time buyer and I'm interested in packages available to first-time home buyers.

All in all its been good so far...
