Welcome back to LiveJournal, Nick. I'm not so sure you don't have normal fears, the third one you listed is one of my top fears as well. I would comment more, but I'm not feeling well and not thinking clearly, so I'll stop here before I say anything that makes absolutely no sense.

those pretty much sum up my fears as well, but my MAJOR one is just being alone, i get such high anxiety from being in a room by myself, its terrible! So bad infact that i had an anxiety attack while playing solitaire. ... and then i found 20$

anyway, its good that you're back on lj, i love to see that spiderman on my friends page

i am unexplainably afraid of being in any awkward social situation (i hate small talk with a passion)
i'm also extremely afraid of hospitals...
and yeah...dying alone is up there too

A worse fear then any of those would probably be feeling something for someone that would never feel anything for you.

Why use the word Inadvertently? Should it just be; “Hurting those I care about”?

I used inadvertantly, becuase I am often careless when I speak. To me being afraid of "Hurting those I care about" is about understanding that you have the capacity to CHOOSE and make deliberate actions towards hurting someone, despite caring about them. When I speak however I often think, "hmmmm maybe I could have been a bit more tactful there," or "Jeez, he/she's being really quiet right now, maybe I shouldn't have said ___________." And through my own carelessness I inadvertantly hurt them ( ... )

Well, I am going to go out on a limb and assume you are female. And since you are "Anonymous," your new name is Anne O. Nemus, or just "Anne" for short...if you're a guy: too late "Anne" is set...Just kidding. In that case you can be "Andros." But my (non existant) psychic powers tell me you are of the female variety. Let me know which one I should refer to you as though: Anne or Andros. Welcome to the wonderful land of commenting on my LJ, enjoy your stay here...

PS: My names are never harsh, so second person fear not you will get a fair designation so that it is much easier to refer/respond to you.
