It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood

I used to watch Mister Roger's Neighborhood all the time when I was little, right after Sesame Street on the public broadcast station (PBS).

This story makes me appreciate more what a great guy Fred Rogers was.

I did always want to be his neighbor, he was like my hero as a kid. reading this only confirms I was watching the right guy. and I agree with the other two, there just is not anything...ANYTHING the same as the guy who always changed his shoes and sweater just before he started his show.

I miss you Mr. Rodgers, I hope you are in a happy place with many wonderful neighbors.

Mister Rodgers was the bomb. I feel sorry for the kids growing up today who are going to miss him.

When I was growing up, Mister Rogers scared me for some reason, but now I appreciate him and his values immensely.
